1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Dog Behaviour Tracking & Recovery App ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Eligibility
To use this App, you must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, and not be prohibited from using the App under applicable laws.
3. Beta/MVP Service
You acknowledge that the App is currently in beta/MVP stage provided for early testing. Data may be lost, features may change without notice, and access may be revoked at any time.
4. Use of the Service
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and not to attempt unauthorised access, transmit harmful code, collect data without authorisation, or create competing products.
5. Accounts & Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.
6. Dog Behaviour Disclaimer
Important: This App does not provide veterinary, medical, or certified animal behaviourist advice. All content is for informational purposes only.
For any health concerns, behavioural issues, aggression, or emergencies, always consult a qualified veterinarian or certified animal behaviourist immediately. You are solely responsible for your dog's safety, welfare, and behaviour.
7. Data Collection & Usage
We collect account data (email, name), dog profile data (name, breed, age, weight, triggers), behaviour logs (sleep, activity, stress events, mood), and usage data. Your data is used to provide personalised insights, calculate recovery scores, generate recommendations, and improve the App. Data is retained while your account is active. You may request deletion at any time.
8. User Permissions & Consent
By using the App, you grant us permission to store and process your logs, generate insights from your data, use anonymised data to improve the service, and send important service notifications.
9. Feedback & Suggestions
By submitting feedback or bug reports, you agree that we may use and implement your Feedback without compensation. We are under no obligation to respond to or implement any Feedback.
10. Intellectual Property
The App and its content are owned by us and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of data you input, and we are granted a limited licence to use it to provide our services.
11. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide, keeping your credentials secure, your dog's safety and welfare, making informed care decisions, and seeking professional advice when needed.
12. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless us and our officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or any harm caused by your dog.
14. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice, for any reason including breach of these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
16. Severability
If any provision is found unenforceable, it shall be limited to the minimum extent necessary, and remaining provisions shall remain in full force.
17. Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding your use of the App.
