1.3 Behaviour and Mood Logs

Through daily entries, we collect sleep data (hours and quality), activity logs (types, duration, intensity), training sessions, stress events (triggers, reactions, recovery), mood observations, enrichment activities, and calm vs stressed day indicators.

1.4 App Usage Data

We may collect basic information about how you use the App: features accessed, time spent, error logs for troubleshooting, and device type and browser information.

2. Why We Collect Your Data

We use your information to provide personalised behaviour insights and recovery scores, support behaviour tracking with historical analysis, improve the App and fix bugs, and conduct anonymised research on dog behaviour patterns to improve our recommendations.

3. How We Store and Protect Your Data

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard practices: encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS, authentication handled by secure third-party providers, access restricted to authenticated sessions only, and your data isolated from other users' data.

Our Commitment: We will never sell, rent, or trade your personal information or your dog's data to third parties for marketing or commercial purposes.

4. How Long We Keep Your Data

We retain all your data, including historical behaviour logs, for as long as your account remains active. When you request deletion, your personal account data, all dog profiles, and all behaviour logs will be deleted within 30 days. Only anonymised, aggregated data that cannot identify you may be retained.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to access your data at any time through the App. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data. You can update and correct your personal information and dog profile data directly within the App. You may withdraw your consent by deleting your account. Upon request, we can provide your data in a commonly used, machine-readable format.

6. Third-Party Services

We use secure third-party authentication providers to manage user login and account security. Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure with appropriate security certifications. We may use privacy-respecting analytics tools that do not track individual users across sites.

7. Data for Insights and Research

We may use anonymised and aggregated data to improve our behaviour insights, conduct research on dog behaviour patterns, and develop new features. Any data used for research is stripped of identifying information — we never share your name, email, or your dog's name in any research or aggregate analysis.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you through the App or via email. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
